Science Slam is a Masaryk University competition where talents pass on their ideas and enthusiasm for science to others. In an easy and fun way. Imagine it as a theatrical performance where there are researchers in the role of actors and the jury is the audience. We didn't just want to watch it, we became a part of it.
In addition to the new visual identity and brand manual, we also took care of the entire communication strategy, promotional video scenarios, merchandising, including the design of a more enjoyable user environment on the Science Slam website. We also took production under our wings and ended it with a series of workshops on social networks for the organizational team of Science Slam from Masaryk University.
Why to talk, when the beautiful moment of sudden seeing the light can be best captured by a rather short exclamation "I see!". In our opinion, great science starts with small interjections. And we also built the principle of communication on them. In the logo and visuals, we added a light bulb pictogram to a distinctive copy, the light bulb being a worldwide symbol of innovation, ideas and knowledge.
Around the world, slam is a very popular and respected form of popularizing science. It opens the doors of academic laboratories, libraries and offices to the general public. And if you want to talk to people, clear and direct messages can help you.
Distinctive visual, clever and funny copy. This is a recipe how to attract in an age when up to 4,000 messages attack us daily. No one in the target audience missed the Science Slam communication. Neither on the Internet, nor in the public space.
